When a Prashna is Born

The question wells up inside you.

You ask the Astrologer.

A Prashna is born.

You might be physically in Honolulu.

Astrologer might be in Hong Kong.

Astrologer casts for Hong Kong.

You might have been born in Hanoi, but you’ve asked Astrologer who is physically in Hong Kong, and therefore…

…Astrologer casts Prashna chart for Hong Kong.

The question flashed in your mind at a particular time, but you ask the Astrologer at a later time.

Astrologer casts the Prashna chart for the time when the Prashna is asked, i.e. the later time.

You call the Astrologer, asking for an appointment. You get the appointment.

Astrologer casts Prashna chart for the time of call, not for the time of appointment.

Let’s assume an Astrologer is taking a break.

You call to ask.

Astrologer not home.

However, he or she has trained his or her family members to receive queries.

He or she comes back, and casts Prashna chart for time of query received, not for time of query related by family member to him or her.

Let’s say that it is a known fact that an Astrologer practises Astrology during fixed hours.

You arrive, with your Prashna.

Now, why should the Astrologer limit him or herself to those few Prashna Lagnas that are available during those fixed hours?

The Astrologer then devises a way to fix Prashna Lagna.

For example, you can be asked to choose a blank square of a South Indian style chart. The square you choose serves then as Prashna Lagna.

A variation the Astrologer can use here is to pre-decide where Aries is on this blank South Indian style chart.

There are various methods to fix the Prashna Lagna if the need arises. One can even devise one’s own method, using mathematics for example, as in “Think of a number…”.

When a Prashna is born, the Universe has been tapped for an answer.

The Astrologer is the conduit for the answer to come though.

The Astrologer’s means to connect to the Universe is the Prashna chart.

The Life-Prashna

Let’s just stay with the muddled querist for a bit.

Sympathy is something that is emerging from within us.

We are practicing Astrology for many reasons.

One of them is love.

We love it, and we love to help.

Therefore, we are trying to make something of this syndrome that the querist faces.

The question or questions are not emerging clearly.

In fact, the querist, in his or her “stupor” (if I may use this word, you’re getting what I’m saying) has lost track of what exactly the query is.

There are many hap-hazard questions being asked. Confusion rules.

You’re not confused, though.

You know what this is.

This is a “life-Prashna” emerging.

It’s a vital moment, laden with possibilities for many queries, revolving around a few core issues. All are contained in the life-Prashna.

Even though I have coined this phrase in this space, I’m sure you are confronted with similar situations all the time, and have coined a similar befitting phrase, or perhaps the same one.

Who coined what doesn’t matter.

We are here to do maximum good. That’s what matters.

You ask the querist to rest for a moment, and to stop speaking.

You draw up the life-Prashna.

You check the basics. Sun (tallies the date), Lagna (tallies the time), slow-moving planets (tally the year), all tally. You are doing this to make sure you’ve not made any mistake while feeding in the details. This is a sort of a double check on the basis of the chart that has been calculated. You are going to do this every time, every time, every time that you cast a chart. Period.

Then, you start to speak.

You start to clear the querist’s confusion.

The not-so-important questions fall into the background.

The core ones come into the front.

Tackle the core ones.

Others will all into line automatically.

Let the quest’s body-language guide you.

Clearance of confusion is your gauge.

If you’re successfully progressing with this, you’ll keep seeing its reflection in the quest’s demeanor.

Keep going.

There will come a stage during the reading, where you are getting exhausted.

Your connection to Universal energy through the Prashna chart has been vital for the querist, who has been able to tap into this energy through you as a medium.

The conduit normally feels tiredness after such a process. It’s understandable that you are tired.

Try and wind up.

Well done, keep going, you’ll face many life-Prashna situations, and believe me, each one will consume you, presenting you simultaneously with immense opportunities to do maximum good.

All the best.

🙂

Why Sheer Prashna?

Well, why not?

Firstly, what is sheer Prashna?

Prashna only. Unaccompanied by birth-chart.

Why?

It’s fun.

You fill in the blanks.

You read without bias.

You connect to universal forces seamlessly, ultimately. You have no choice but to, for the reading to carry weight.

Some might say the same for the birthchart. Sure. Whatever cooks your goose, or fries your bacon, or what have you, do that kind of Astrology.

Blanks can be big. Your imagination needs to be fantastic, to fill these. With a burgeoning imagination, you often fill the blanks with nonsense, and the reading goes way off its mark.

It’s ok.

Three times out of ten, and you shouldn’t worry. Recognize that the reading has gone off, admit it, apologise if you have to, try again, but if need be, have the strength and presence of mind to abort.

You’re not a bad Astrologer, it’s just that the reading has gone awry. Move on.

Two times out of ten comes. Improving majorly.

Ultimately, you start connecting at will. Sheer Prashna will do that fast for you. Reading failures lessen. You’re functioning at peak. Do what you’ve come to do. Use your Astrology for maximum good.

There’s a side-effect happening.

Your multiple connections have made you a recognizable conduit.

Who has recognized you?

Mankind?

Human recognition has limited value and lots of side-effects. Pay no attention to it. Be happy if it doesn’t even come, as long as your consulters are leaving your surroundings in a satisfied frame of mind.

So who has recognized you?

Universal force has, as a conduit through which it can flow. Now, it won’t leave you. Next connection will be easier. And so forth. Seamlessness will arrive. Ultimately, you will be connecting at will.

Connection will have effects on you. Through you, energy will overflow in the form of words. This energy will transform that which comes in contact with it. At times, you will wonder, is it even you speaking? How did you make that analogy with a particular combination? Normally, you would never have arrived at that particular conclusion upon seeing the combination at hand. Then you see the other person beaming, as what you’ve said has struck many chords. This is transformation in action. It has come through you. In the bargain, it has taught a new meaning to an Astrological combination. It’s a win-win. You don’t need the Classics, you’re learning from the Universal Force itself. The saints who wrote the Classics connected to the Universal Force to do so. You are connecting to this same source. Sheer Prashna will make all this happen very fast for you.

You’ll need to be a bit careful, though.

All this connection with extra-terrestrial energies will subtract from your worldiness, and will add to your other-worldliness.

To live in our mad world full of frenzy, one does need to be street-smart, and somewhat worldly. If you’re getting renumerated with money, that’ll help in staying worldly. If not, you’ve got a small issue. Especially if you’re a family man with worldly duties.

Hmmm, how do you wheedle your way out of this one?

Pick up a small vice, but keep it contained. Hahahahahahaha, just joking. 🙂
