Why Sheer Prashna?

Well, why not?

Firstly, what is sheer Prashna?

Prashna only. Unaccompanied by birth-chart.

Why?

It’s fun.

You fill in the blanks.

You read without bias.

You connect to universal forces seamlessly, ultimately. You have no choice but to, for the reading to carry weight.

Some might say the same for the birthchart. Sure. Whatever cooks your goose, or fries your bacon, or what have you, do that kind of Astrology.

Blanks can be big. Your imagination needs to be fantastic, to fill these. With a burgeoning imagination, you often fill the blanks with nonsense, and the reading goes way off its mark.

It’s ok.

Three times out of ten, and you shouldn’t worry. Recognize that the reading has gone off, admit it, apologise if you have to, try again, but if need be, have the strength and presence of mind to abort.

You’re not a bad Astrologer, it’s just that the reading has gone awry. Move on.

Two times out of ten comes. Improving majorly.

Ultimately, you start connecting at will. Sheer Prashna will do that fast for you. Reading failures lessen. You’re functioning at peak. Do what you’ve come to do. Use your Astrology for maximum good.

There’s a side-effect happening.

Your multiple connections have made you a recognizable conduit.

Who has recognized you?

Mankind?

Human recognition has limited value and lots of side-effects. Pay no attention to it. Be happy if it doesn’t even come, as long as your consulters are leaving your surroundings in a satisfied frame of mind.

So who has recognized you?

Universal force has, as a conduit through which it can flow. Now, it won’t leave you. Next connection will be easier. And so forth. Seamlessness will arrive. Ultimately, you will be connecting at will.

Connection will have effects on you. Through you, energy will overflow in the form of words. This energy will transform that which comes in contact with it. At times, you will wonder, is it even you speaking? How did you make that analogy with a particular combination? Normally, you would never have arrived at that particular conclusion upon seeing the combination at hand. Then you see the other person beaming, as what you’ve said has struck many chords. This is transformation in action. It has come through you. In the bargain, it has taught a new meaning to an Astrological combination. It’s a win-win. You don’t need the Classics, you’re learning from the Universal Force itself. The saints who wrote the Classics connected to the Universal Force to do so. You are connecting to this same source. Sheer Prashna will make all this happen very fast for you.

You’ll need to be a bit careful, though.

All this connection with extra-terrestrial energies will subtract from your worldiness, and will add to your other-worldliness.

To live in our mad world full of frenzy, one does need to be street-smart, and somewhat worldly. If you’re getting renumerated with money, that’ll help in staying worldly. If not, you’ve got a small issue. Especially if you’re a family man with worldly duties.

Hmmm, how do you wheedle your way out of this one?

Pick up a small vice, but keep it contained. Hahahahahahaha, just joking. 🙂

Why are you still looking here and there?

Yes.

You.

Why?

Do your work.

Is there a need to see what the other fellow is doing?

Frankly, no.

However, we are inquisitive.

We might want to see how the craft is evolving.

Fine and fair enough.

Can we keep it at that?

That’s the tough part.

Instead of looking here and there to evolve, we look here and there to see how the other fellow is doing.

As in, how successful is the other fellow?

Somehow, this is one question that intrigues us.

Can we get over this hurdle?

It is stopping us from evolution.

It is distracting our energies.

It is lowering the quality of our readings.

One way is to not do Astrology for money.

Not everyone enjoys that luxury.

Let’s say you are in a situation where the craft is your bread-winner.

Fine.

So be it.

How can you still get over the hurdle?

Everyone likes recognition.

However, since you are already stuck with the money angle, you can try and keep the craving-for-recognition angle out.

Do your craft. Win your bread. Advertize. Fine. Try and starve the craving for recognition, though. Why?

This craving will make you lose important energy. Save this energy for your craft.

Once you are doing quality readings, recognition will follow automatically.

There might then come a time when you are happy seeing the other fellow succeed.

Good for What?

Yeah, what is it good for?

Is that even a serious question?

Can one even ask such a question wrt Astrology?

Ok, I’m asking it.

Do I feel silly?

No.

Why am I asking it?

I want to know.

Why do I want to know?

I want to know, because I’m not using Astrology for money and I’m not using it for fame – so what is it doing in my life?

I can say that it found me. Yeah, I wasn’t even looking for it. It found me, grabbed me, and didn’t let go.

So, that’s where we stand.

I do teach it, subconsciously.

I mean, every Astrology interaction I have with someone who needs help has some kind of a teaching effect.

Oh, forgot, I help people with it.

Not everyone. Sometimes, one just doesn’t have the energy. Sometimes, one does. Then, one helps.

What is all this getting me?

Recognition?

No.

Kalyuga doesn’t care much for a background Astrologer who doesn’t blare his or her own trumpet. Didn’t want that kind of recognition anyways.

Satisfaction?

Yes.

Astrology adds more satisfaction to my life.

Eventually, one starts to see strands of Karma in the chart. One sees why, and why not. Karma dynamics gives one direction. It tells one where one stands in the scheme of things. All this is meaningful and satisfying.

Is that enough for me?

Yes, hmmm, no perhaps. In Germany, they’d say “jein“, as in ja + nein, as in a combination of yes and no. Yeah, my answer is jein.

What’s missing?

Oh, totally forgot, the writing part. I like writing, and I like Astrology, so I write about Astrology.

Writing about Astrology is a creation of goodness.

Writing helps.

Writing teaches. It teaches me too, because my thoughts get evened out, and understanding gets deeper. Writing is also a dialogue with oneself.

Anything else, Mr. Nath?

Well, I do fancy lecturing when I retire, but that’s some time away.

Nothing else.

Astrology is a great friend to have.
